The Boggs Spokeshave, made and sold by Lie-Nielsen, is one of those hand tools that might be intimidating to learn. But once you get the hang of it, you'll wonder how you ever made anything curvy without it.
Brian's design is easy to learn and easy to use. You can easily remove the blade for sharpening. After that's done, set-up and adjustment take less than 60 seconds.

After a few years of avoiding crowds and careful masking, I managed to come down with COVID for the first time. The last couple weeks were tiring. But I'm beginning to feel better.
Out of an abundance of caution, Jeff and I decided to reschedule the upcoming class in April. It was a difficult decision to postpone the class. Those students who were so understanding of this situation have my sincere thanks.
To give these folks as many options as possible, I added another Arm or Side Chair class; September 17th through the 23rd.
The May class is now full.
There is one space open in my July 23rd-29th class.
